In the exhibition this year’s Geneva Auto Show, Volvo had a special surprise for the show ‘innards’ of their products, without having to ‘strip’ one by one.
The surprise is a special x-ray applications that allow visitors to use their iPhone and the iPad as a device x-ray scanner.
Same practice is uniquely created by digital agency La Comunidad Miami, and through the application of the exhibition visitors will be able to get a detailed view from every angle (360 degrees) for any parts that are used in a Volvo car.
This application was developed based on augmented reality technology that is able to read a special marker that is placed on different sides in the car.
After noting the success of the event the Geneva Auto Show, the application of x-ray will be ready for use in a variety of other automotive event in the world and also in various Volvo dealerships.
