3D Maps How to Enable 3D Maps on iPhone 4, 3G and iPod Touch 4th GenOne of the main features brought iOS 6 is a new version of Maps. With this new version of the Maps app, Apple has made major changes in the iOS devices that have been relying on Google maps. Apple’s new Maps app is also equipped with new features, such as turn-by-turn navigation and 3D capabilities.

Unfortunately for your iDevice owners of older models like the iPhone 4 or iPhone 3G, Apple does not provide 3D capabilities Maps and turn-by-turn direction to the device you use. But do not worry too much because if you have Jailbroken iDevice, then you easily can get the new 3D features in Maps app.

Note: This tweak jajilbreak can be used on the iPhone 4, iPhone 3G and iPod touch 4th generation. Previously iDevice must have been running iOS 6.

Step 1: Jailbreak iOS installation using a tethered jailbreak 6.

Step 2: Install Cydia.

Step 3: Install iFile from Cydia, use this link to install the 3D Enabler package. Afterwards turn off the Maps app, and reopen. Next you will discover the 3D icon Maps visible permanently.

You can also use the iOS 6 beta repo’s Ryan Petrich (http://rpetri.ch/ios6/) to install iOS 6 Unlock Maps. Version provides the same 3D maps as a step above.
