Shortly after Apple released the iPhone 4S is equipped with features personal assistant Siri, a number of developers start creating applications for Android competitor. Call it the name of Iris which was obviously the opposite of Siri, or apps that recently launched, Cluzee. However, apparently Google did not stand seeing this.
Google recently announced that they have gained Clever Sense, a manufacturer of Alfred applications, personal digital assistants. However, the provisions of the agreement were not disclosed.
Applications Alfred-command does not have video capabilities. Similar to Siri, these applications do a search on the internet and provide recommendations to users, ranging from restaurants to bars. Alfred also studied the preferences and tastes of users from time to time to make more appropriate recommendations.
Siri can answer questions about the weather, news and directions. There are 10 ways to ask Siri who might want to know. It is unclear whether Alfred could also do it. Are Google and Clever Sense will develop it further?
“Together with the Google team, we will accelerate efforts to share the vision. Google helps local businesses connect with potential customers, and its presence around the world can bring the value of Clever Sense to a wider audience. Finding local information is very important for both parties, both users and business people, and the acquisition of Clever Sense will benefit both, “the company said.
Google is not ready to shift the position of Siri, but Alfred was one step to getting there. Google has a good chance with voice-recognition software that they were working for Android. And in this very important role of Alfred. Well.. whether the future will be able to compete with Alfred Siri? We’ll see
