Sony Tablet S ready to compete iPad 2?

Aroma competition pushed back. Android is arguably one of the contenders iPad is quite strong, especially with the presence of this device. Sony has just bring the tablet’s, other new competitors for the iPad 2. Latest tablet output electronics giant offers Honeycomb Android as the operating system. Here are some points you need to know about how strong the potential to rival iPad 2 Tablets.

To fight the A5′s 1GHz Apple iPad 2, tablets S are supported by Nvidia Tegra 2 with the ARM CPU Cortext-A9. Cortext-A9 is the multicore mobile processors that allow faster response overall. Apple A5 and Nvidia Tegra 2 is the implementation of system-on-chip from Cortext-A9. For storage capacity, iPad 2 comes with a choice of 64GB, while the tablets S only provides a choice of 16GB and 32GB.

Connectivity

Both tablets have WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities, but the tablet’s have the advantage of Universal Infrared Remote and technological features DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance). In other words, this technology allows users to wirelessly transfer digital content from tablet to other media devices with DLNA capable, from TV to the Blu-Ray player.

Last but not least is the price. Tablets S feels lighter in the pocket. 16GB version can be had for $579, while the 32GB version priced at $689.
