Microsoft will hold a Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) on Monday, July 11, 2011. The event will feature a keynote from CEO Steve Ballmer will deliver his vision. Microsoft will also reveal its business vision and strategy for the financial year 2012.
Besides those two things, the rumor mentions that in the event Microsoft will also release pre-beta version of Windows 8. When viewed backward, using the Microsoft Developers Conference earlier in 2008 for release pre-beta version of Windows 7. Microsoft then bring the public beta version at CES 2009.
Many parties later speculate Microsoft will introduce a public beta version of Windows 8 BUILD developer conference September. If Microsoft really release a pre-beta version before the conference, then there is the right choice at the WPC Monday. However, it should be observed that decision to be unusual because Microsoft has always announces new OS with the developers, not business partners.
True or not, we’ll wait until next Monday
