Earlier this week, mobile phone maker Nokia unveiled the world’s first handset that runs under MeeGo platform, the Nokia N9.
As announced by Nokia, N9 does not provide official details of what price will be priced and available all over the world. But it is slightly ajar, after Colin Giles, executive vice president of sales for Nokia, let slip some info on the matter.
According to a recent article on MyNokiaBlog, Giles implicitly confirms that the new device will be available starting price of USD660 for its capacity 16GB and the 64GB model will be priced at USD749.
No doubt, when compared with other devices out there, the price tag may seem high, but, since this is a niche device, and also a unique, cost does not seem too matter
Not to mention that the handset will be sold unlocked, so users can enjoy the ability to one supported network they want.
As stated above, Nokia does not confirm the price for this device, they also did not announce anything specific at that time may arrive on the shelves, although users can sign up for updates on the issue directly to the company’s website.
