Shortly before the event Mobile World Congress (MWC 2011) in Barcelona, Nokia reportedly held a press conference related to the fate of Symbian, after the Finnish company is adopting the Windows Phone 7.
Reportedly, Nokia is preparing Symbian menu ^3 new flavors, which later can be obtained via an update from mobile phone users respectively. With this issue of the rolling that Symbian will die has been underlined. It seems too early to declare it.
On the occasion, Nokia CEO Stephen Elop himself who will explain in detail a new strategy of Nokia in the future. He will be assisted by Jo Harlow, who currently heads the division of ‘smart devices’.
As quoted from allaboutSymbian, Harlow explained that all of the latest Symbian phones later would have a 1 Ghz processor. He also mentioned the addition of graphical user interface (UI) that will make Symbian^3 more fresh and taste.
Elop also add, update new products now being done Nokia Symbian and soon present to the consumer. According to Elop, it is very important as a manifestation of the transition strategy of Nokia.
