Rumors were flying about the next generation iPhone. Not only the new version, the iPhone was rumored CDMA version will appear.

Rumors had started from the Wall Street Journal, which was quoted by blogs like Gizmodo quoted Cumaini, Tuesday (30/3/2010). Mentioned that the iPhone will be coming soon for the U.S. operator, Verizon.

That said, the iPhone for Verizon will run on CDMA networks. The difference again, this CDMA version will be produced by not Pegatron Hon Hai, aka Foxconn like the iPhone version of GSM.

Not sure when the iPhone version of CDMA will be present. But is expected in mid of this year Apple is expected to announce the latest generation of the smart phone.

Like most rumors, the Wall Street Journal only mentions ‘sources’ for this news. There are currently no certainty on the part of Apple about the truth of this news.
